Tragic car accident in Larissa involving four vehicles – One dead and three seriously injured in hospital

A tragic accident occurred this afternoon on the Larissa-Agia road involving a collision between four vehicles, resulting in one fatality and three serious injuries.

According to information from Larissanet, the crash involved a truck, a van, a tractor, and a car under as-yet-undetermined circumstances. Following an initial collision between the car and the tractor, the car veered into the opposite lane and collided with two other vehicles.

Three fire rescue units from Larissa and Agia were dispatched to the scene, along with the Fire Department commanders of Larissa and Agia, ambulances, and Traffic Police to manage the flow of vehicles and investigate the cause of the accident.

Three seriously injured individuals were taken to a hospital in Larissa, while rescue crews continue their efforts.

The severity of the crash left the tractor in a twisted heap of metal, while the car was flung from the road, ending up overturned in a nearby field.
