Zoi Laskari: Her jewellery auctioned 7 years after her death – Alexandros Lycourezos claims ignorance

"I have no involvement," commented the actress's daughter, Aithra Lycourezou, on the matter

Newsroom November 18 01:30

Some of Zoi Laskari’s personal jewelry is set to be auctioned in the coming days, sparking a lot of attention.

Renowned gallery owner, Giorgos Tsagkarakis, spoke on the “Happy Day” show, revealing that these valuable pieces came into his possession with the consent of a family member, although he chose not to disclose their identity. However, both Alexandros Lycurezos and Aithra Lycurezou claim to be unaware of the auction.

The Jewelry
The pieces include a rare double-stranded pearl necklace and a pair of 18-carat white gold earrings with large, valuable emeralds.

Tsagkarakis commented: “I am assessing the value of these pieces, which are from Zoi Laskari’s personal collection. They were given to me by a family member. Some items have significant financial value, while others are more modest, worn by her daily. You can’t really assign a regular market value to Zoi Laskari’s necklace because it was worn by a celebrity. The price is determined by the public.”

In a conversation with a journalist from the show, Alexandros Lycourezos emphasized that he had no knowledge of the auction, learning about it only through the reporter.

On the other hand, when presenter Stamatina Tsimtsili reached out to the actress’s daughter and prominent lawyer’s daughter, Aithra Lycourezou, she avoided answering whether she had made the decision to auction the jewellery. Aithra firmly stated, “I have no involvement.”
