According to the business school rankings published annually by the Financial Times, London Business School is the best European school for 2014, a title it last held in 2005.

The second and the third place were occupied by HEC Paris and Spain’s IE Business School, the two joint winners of 2013.

FT selects the best 81 business schools in Europe based on their performance in four of the rankings published by the newspaper each year for the following categories: MBA, executive MBA (EMBA), masters in management (MiM) and executive education.

The UK and France are the two protagonists of business education in Europe. Almost half of the schools in the list are from either the UK (20) or France (19).
