Following the peaceful protest demonstration in the center of Athens, groups of people headed at Exarhia and started destroying  cars, set garbage bins on fire, burned motorbikes and created barricades in several streets.

Protesters also managed to use a bus as a barricade in Stournara street which they set on fire later on.

Police made use of chemicals and stun grenade.
