Manuel Tamayo-Torres was arrested Monday in California after posting a video online in which he threatened to kill US President-elect Donald Trump and members of his family, US media reported today.
Citing court documents, ABC 7 television network reported that the suspect had posted several videos in recent months on Facebook, including one in which he is seen holding an AR-15 rifle with a 30-round magazine.
The court documents do not name Donald Trump, who is referred to as “Individual 1,” a term often used in such documents to refer to a public figure.
Last Thursday, always according to the ABC 7 report, Tamayo-Torres said in a video posted on Facebook, (Individual 1) will die. (Individual 1), your son is going to die. Your whole family is going to die, (Individual 1). This is the reality for you. This is the only reality you will know in the future, (Face 1), death.”
Tamayo-Torres claims in a video, among other things, that “Individual 1” kidnapped and forced his children into prostitution, ABC 7 reports.
One of the disputed videos was posted on August 23 from the Desert Diamond Arena in Arizona, where Donald Trump was then appearing at a campaign rally.
