Daring naturalist Paul Rosolie had “pledged” to be swallowed by a huge anaconda as part of a two hour documentary for the Discovery Channel, titled “Eaten Alive.”
However, when the much anticipated show finally aired at dawn Monday it quickly became obvious that the documentary did not live up to its name.
Rosolie’s encounter with the anaconda was certainly interesting… but the huge serpent did not swallow the naturalist alive. It just attacked him, coiled around him, then started to bite his helmet, at which point Rosolie had to call in his team to rescue him, because his arm was being crushed.
Understandably, the audience was not happy. Their angry, yet amusing tweets show their feelings about this Discovery “fail”
