During their joint meeting on Wednesday both the parliamentary group and the Executive Committee of DIMAR decided to vote against the government’s proposal for the presidential election and the organizational independence of the Democratic Left.
More specifically, the party members have agreed to vote against Stavros Dimas in all three voting, since ” DIMAR will not contribute to maintenance of policies which are trapping society and the economy.”
Further DIMAR underlined that “the Democratic Left is and will remain present to political developments, given their uncompromising political and organizational independence”.
