As it was expected, the debate on these spots was continued at social media with comments like “’Her first time’ says To Potami, ‘First time left’ says SYRIZA. For a broth… country we have a lot of virgins”. Especially, one can find out on Twitter that “Mr Raptopoulou, the old lady starring in the spot “First Time”, goes to homes and gather votes for Stavros”.

Others wrote that “the only sexist nonsense of this video is the puritan naivety of those who believe that eighteen-year-old virgins still exist” and that “the beard of Konsitas is characterized as progressive, while the spots of To Potami are characterized sexist. # wtf”.

These spots are so popular much on the Internet that confirm the advertising principle that “any publicity is good publicity”. These spots, along with the less hardcore, male monologue have prevailed during the current election period. Hence a more political tweet saying: “Sorry, but those who think that “First Time” is sexist, should consider “First time left” slogan of SYRIZA even pervert,”.

Meanwhile, those who started this waive of reaction arguing that these spots are sexist and unacceptable seem to see the whole issue more calmly. Mr. Pericles Vallianos, candidate for European Parliament with To Potami wrote on Facebook that “my objections against these spots were made with enraged tone. My outrage was caused by the number of messages I was getting from my students” adding that “My criticism does not of course target To Potami or Stavros Theodorakis, whom I continue supporting,”.

Costas Argyros, also a candidate for the European Parliament with To Potami said “I was sad seeing that some people who I appreciate do not have a sense of humor. I do not know what’s worse. To have lost it due to the many years of engaging in politics or that they had never had a sense of humor,”.
