Another Rafale fighter jet of the Hellenic Air Force (HAF), the 24th and last of the order, landed today (January 9) at the Tanagra Air Force Base and joins the fleet of the 332 Squadron.
The arrival of the 24th Rafale at Tanagra marks the completion of the double order placed by Greece a few years ago.
This specific Rafale is part of the second contract, which included the delivery of six additional 4.5-generation fighter jets, following the initial plan to acquire 18 aircraft.
As reported by ERT, the combination of the aircraft’s integrated self-protection system and the Meteor missiles brings new capabilities regarding the protection of Greek airspace by the Hellenic Air Force.
