An opinion poll conducted by Public Issue and published on the official site of the company on Friday showed a 7% lead of main opposition SYRIZA over main coalition partner New Democracy (ND).

According to the poll’s results on vote intention, 36.5% of the respondents said they would vote for SYRIZA, followed by ND with 29.5%, Potami with 8.5%, Greece’s Communist Party (KKE) with 6%, PASOK with 6%, far right Golden Dawn (GD) with 6%, Independent Greeks (ANEL) with 3.5% and Democratic Left with 1%.

It should be noted that, when asked which party would win if elections were held tomorrow, 68% of the respondents said SYRIZA followed by ND with 20%.
