Musk continues his “assault” on the public sector with Trump’s blessing: After USAID, education and the Pentagon follow

The actions of the billionaire owner of "X" cause the wrath of Democrats and an avalanche of legal action

Newsroom February 8 03:27

After revealing the unprecedented scandal of the US international humanitarian aid agency (USAID) and dismantling it, Elon Musk will continue his “assault” on the fields of education and the US Armed Forces, Donald Trump announced yesterday Friday, as the Republican US president has so far unreservedly supported the brutal yet successful methods of his ally, adviser and the richest man on the planet.

During a press conference at the White House, Donald Trump assured that he instructed Musk to “go look at education, go look at the Pentagon, which is the military.”

The multi-billionaire, who has been tasked with drastically reducing public spending, is already grappling with the issue, when he argued, for example, that “American arms programs need to be completely overhauled.”

His team is made up of highly qualified people who “know what they’re doing”, the US president stated.

Elon Musk took a “poll” yesterday via X on whether Marco Elez, 25, should return to it. He resigned on Thursday after the Wall Street Journal revealed his connection to an account on the same social media site that had made several allegedly “racist posts”, notably “pro-eugenics”.

Vice President J.D. Vance expressed his support for Marco Elez via X.

“Obviously I disagree with some of Elez’s posts, but I don’t think stupid activity on social networking sites should have ruined a kid’s life,” he ruled. “Bring him back,” he demanded, a request Musk immediately echoed.

Asked about the issue yesterday, President Trump said he was not aware of “all the details” but certainly “has the same opinion” as his vice president.

Formerly a SpaceX employee, Marco Elez was among those who recently gained access to the U.S. Treasury’s Secretary of the Treasury payment system, which distributes billions of dollars from federal coffers.

Asked whether Musk’s actions have limits, Donald Trump referred to “probably in the high security areas.”

The US spends by far the most money on Defence of any developed economy in the world. Pentagon budget increases are approved endlessly every year with Democratic and Republican consensus.

Musk’s actions are causing outrage among Democrats and an avalanche of legal challenges.

He is accused of acting “outside of any legal framework”, “defying the regulatory framework” and of being motivated by personal interests.

Musk was instrumental in the spectacular, ongoing dismantling of USAID, a major U.S. relief agency that was proven to have been used practically for money laundering by the Democrats, who funded NGOs, media outlets, organizations and people pushing their agenda which had little to nothing to do with purpose of USAID.

Now the consumer protection agency (CFPB) is in his crosshairs. He sarcastically wished to “rest in peace” via X.

A White House spokeswoman assured this week that the businessman “recuses” himself from cases involving him to avoid conflicts of interest.

The romance, which began during the Republican campaign, generously funded by Mr. Musk, consequently continues, until further notice.

The billionaire went so far as to write on X yesterday that “I love Donald Trump as much as a straight man can love another man.”

Donald Trump was asked yesterday about Time magazine’s front page story depicting Musk sitting in the Oval Office. The 78-year-old president said he did not see it. “Elon is doing a wonderful job,” he added.
