The first layers of Athens snow were noted in the Northern suburbs. The first snowflakes started falling in the regions of Penteli, Parnitha, Agios Stefanos, Dionysos and Ippokrateio Politeia early on Tuesday morning.
The Greek metereological service notes that more snow is to come over the coming days.
Northern Greece
Thessaloniki temperatures are currently at -2C with 51% humidity and clouds, whereas more subzero temperatures are noted at Serres (-4C), Polygyro (-7C), Katerini, Kastoria, Grevena and Florina.
