Here are some places in Greece looking like you’ve never seen them before.
Santorini is known for its sugar-cubed houses perched atop a volcanic hill, but here they are covered in a layer of snow.
Mykonos is known for bikini-clad jetsetters and their yachts, but it’s another story when it is covered in snow.
The snow creates sculptures atop Mt. Psyloritis on Crete, looking very different to the one that summer tourists saw.
Even Kastoria, a place where snow is a familiar occurrence can provide surprises, such as this one with a boat trapped in the icy lake.
A boat perched in the frozen coastline of Doirani lake shared a third by Greece and two thirds by the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
Will there be snow in Athens this year?
