The leader of the main opposition party, SYRIZA, and candidate for the European Commission presidency with the European Left Alexis Tsipras after casting his vote for the European elections and for the second round of the local administration elections said “Today is very nice day, a warm summer day. Maybe, the first Sunday of summer this year. I do not know if this is a sign, but I not that it worth to waste a little of this summer day to vote, particularly the young people”.

He also added that “this is the only way to bring back the summer to our country. Because it is the only way to leave forever from the winter of the memoranda. I am optimistic that we can do it,”.
