Palestinian assaults Tel Aviv bus with knife – Wounds nine

He was immobilized by correctional system officers

Newsroom January 21 05:02

Armed with a knife, a 23 year-old Palestinian male attacked and wounded at least nine bus passengers in central Tel Aviv, before he was taken down by Israeli police fire, and arrested.

A doctor in a Tel Aviv hospital stated that five had been severely wounded, while four only bear light wounds. Seven are hospitalized.

Tel Aviv’s police chief stated that the perpetrator boarded the bus and stabbed the driver multiple times, but the latter resisted, taking the criminal aback.

A vehicle carrying correctional officials was near the bus when it was attacked. As the correctional system guards became aware of the attack, they chased the man down an alley, where they shot him in the leg, immobilizing and arresting him.
