Papathanasis: €375 million budget for new small and medium-sized tourism businesses through NSRF

The increase in available resources comes after extremely high demand through applications submitted

Newsroom May 28 10:19

The budget of the call for applications for funding under the action “Strengthening the establishment and operation of new tourist small and medium-sized enterprises” of the Competitiveness Programme NSRF 2021-2027 has been increased again, by decision of the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis.

Specifically, the available budget of 250 million euros is now 375 million euros, or 150% of the original forecast.

The increase in available resources comes in response to the extremely high demand for applications submitted. This development implies the inclusion of more beneficiaries in the action and consequently the support of more investment projects in one of the most nerve-wracking and dynamic sectors of the Greek economy, tourism.

It is stressed that 6669 applications have been submitted for relevant funding throughout the Territory.
