An Egyptian court has validated the decision to sentence 183 supporters of outlawed Muslim Brotherhood organization, to death, finding them guilty of murders of police officers. Authorities are still in the process of pursuing islamists.

The 183 people were judged to have played a catalytic role in the murder of 16 police officers in August 2013 during the turmoil following Morsi’s overthrowing.
