Kyriaki’’s mother to her daughter’s murderer: “Look at her tombstone — See where Kyriaki is now”

The mother of the murdered young woman testified at the trial of her daughter’s 39-year-old ex-partner and accused murderer: “Look at her grave and see where she is now, may you burn in hell”

Newsroom July 3 06:03

The mother of Kyriaki Griva testified in court about her daughter’s troubled and abusive relationship with the man accused of murdering her. She revealed that he had given Kyriaki a smartwatch that secretly tracked her movements using GPS. After her daughter’s death, they discovered it was connected to his phone.

She described the accused as manipulative, controlling, and financially dependent on Kyriaki, noting he had access to her bank card and tried to isolate and dominate her emotionally. Despite signs of abuse, Kyriaki stayed with him, believing in his potential to change.
