Bookworms can sink their teeth into thousands of free e-books available for free online. Just click on the links and start reading…

1. Project Gutenberg – offers over 46,000 free ebooks: choose among free epub books, free kindle books, download them or read them online.

2. The Online Books Page by the University of Pennsylvania hosts a book search and database.

3. Page By Page Books has hundreds of classic books to choose from.

4. The Classic Book Library, a free resource providing information on classic books across multiple genres, has a wide variety of authors such as Jules Verne to L. M. Montgomery, the Classic Book Library is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to anyone with a passion for reading!

5. Classic Reader has everything from Shakespeare to young fiction and more.

6. Planet eBook has 80+ free downloads to read.

7. The Classic Bookshelf has made e-reading all that easier as readers can choose features of the download. Choose your best font with a mouse click. The book redraws itself at once using the new font. Change the print height for greatest comfort. The book redraws again. Now change the colors. Black and white are excellent in bright sunlight. Blues and greens might be better in the evening. Do you like parallel margins? Justify or don’t, it’s up to you. Each time you change an option or turn a page the book redraws itself.
