Kimberly Guilfoyle is just weeks away from officially taking up her post in Greece following the U.S. Senate’s confirmation of her appointment as ambassador.
This week, Guilfoyle appeared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where she spoke in detail about U.S.-Greece relations and her vision for the broader region.
In a post on Instagram, she shared behind-the-scenes moments from the hearing. Among those present in Washington were the outgoing ambassador, George Tsunis, as well as prominent figures from the Greek-American community, such as John Catsimatidis.
“It was an honor to testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee during my confirmation hearing as nominee for U.S. Ambassador to Greece. I’m grateful to be surrounded by amazing friends and family. Your support means everything to me,” she wrote.
