Photographer Christian Berthelot’s series of works, entitled “Cesar”, shows newborns within seconds of of coming to life. The naked battlers charge to life with screams and yells, drenched in blood and fluids, following C-sections. Berthelot’s own wife’s birth served as inspiration for the compelling photographs on display at the Centquatre-Paris (5 rue Curial) through to March 8.
