Shortly after the crucial government ratification vote in Parliament in the early morning hours, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras wrote on his Facebook, with a picture of the “snowy” Parliament. He titled it: “Democracy has no dead-ends”. The photo and title was also accompanied by the following text, which was an excerpt of his parliament speech.

“We put the people of the country above all.

 

Greece will be in the Eurogroup.

10 million Greeks who suffered unjustly for so many years. 1.5 million unemployed.

2.5 million poor. 300,000 young people who left the country to work abroad.
