A Russian drone strike on an energy facility in the Sumy region of northern Ukraine caused a power outage affecting 220,000 consumers, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

“Repair work in the Sumy region has been ongoing all day today following the Russian drone attack,” Zelensky wrote in a post on the Telegram app, adding that power has been restored for most of those affected.
