A family tragedy has unfolded in New Hampshire in the United States as it has been revealed that a 34-year-old woman shot and killed her husband and their two children and then ended her life.
The 34-year-old Emily Long, who was found dead after shooting herself in the head, allegedly killed her husband, Ryan Long, 48, and their two children, 8-year-old Parker and 6-year-old Ryan, early Monday morning, according to the New Hampshire District Attorney’s Office.
Both children were shot in the head, while their 48-year-old father, who was reportedly battling terminal cancer, was shot several times.
The couple’s three-year-old child – the sole survivor – was found alive inside the home and is now in the care of family members.

While the motive remains unclear, the 34-year-old — who, according to LinkedIn, worked as an operations manager for a restaurant chain — often posted videos on social media describing the despair she felt as she dealt with her husband’s terminal cancer diagnosis.
The 48-year-old Ryan had been diagnosed with glioblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of brain cancer.
In a TikTok video just two days before Monday’s killing, Emily confessed that she was “very depressed” as she tried to restore a sense of normalcy at home while her husband’s health was deteriorating.
“I am determined to create normalcy. I had been struggling so much, and I was really depressed, and I had just shut myself off and only wanted to be with my kids and my husband. That being said, I’m making a change and it starts today… And I’m determined to get out of this depression and do this for my family,” the 34-year-old said.
