Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the course of Western sanctions against Russia, said the measures failed to affect the country.

In a comment on Telegram, Peskov said, “All in all, we can say one thing: this unprecedented number of sanctions imposed on our country over the past four years has had absolutely no effect.”

He stressed that despite the scope and intensity of the sanctions imposed by Western countries, Russia was not affected in their essence.
