Former PM Antonis Samaras stated that “Mr. Tsipras and his government are trying to prove that a return to the Memorandum is a success for the country. In essence they went back to where they started, under much worse circumstances!”.

Mr. Samaras accused SYRIZA of claiming to cancel the MoU but have now changed the name and signed another four months of extension.

He stated: “Never have so many lies been told and proven wrong in such short a time”.
