Liberia appears to be “clean”, concerning any new Ebola cases, for a week. This is the first such week since May 2014, according to the World Health Organization.
In Guinea and Sierra Leone, however, 132 new Ebola cases arose just last week.
The WHO warns that migrations between these areas might mean that there will be a new case in Liberia soon.
Around 10,000 people have lost their lives to the Ebola virus, most of them hailing from these three African countries.
