Poll by GPO: ND leads PASOK by 13.2% – What citizens say about potential Tsipras and Samaras parties

A new GPO poll for Parapolitika FM shows New Democracy (ND) maintaining a clear lead over PASOK, with the governing party receiving 28.6% in the voting intention estimate. PASOK follows with 15.4%, marking a 13.2% difference between the two. Behind them are Greek Solution with 11.5%, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and Course of Freedom both with 8.8%, SYRIZA with 5.4%, Voice of Logic with 3.2%, the Democracy Movement with 2.8%, NIKI with 2.6%, MeRA25 with 2.5%, and the New Left with 1.8%.

In the measure of direct voting intention, ND stands at 24.4%, followed by PASOK at 13.2% and Greek Solution at 9.9%. Course of Freedom and KKE are tied in fourth place with 7.5% each, while SYRIZA records 4.6%. Voice of Logic stands at 2.7%, the Democracy Movement at 2.4%, MeRA25 at 2.1%, and the New Left at 1.5%.

The survey also explored whether the creation of a new party by Alexis Tsipras could fill the current opposition gap. A large majority, 74.1%, answered “no” or “probably no,” while 23.9% said “yes” or “probably yes.” When asked the same question about a potential party led by Antonis Samaras, 78.1% responded “no” or “probably no,” and 19.8% “yes” or “probably yes.” Regarding how likely respondents would be to vote for such parties, 78.4% said they would be “little” or “not at all” likely to vote for a Tsipras-led party, while this figure rose to 90.3% for a party led by Samaras.
