As Constantine-Alexios celebrated his 27th birthday on October 29, interest around him is reigniting. He is the eldest son of Pavlos and Marie-Chantal, a member of a dynasty that no longer has a throne, but still maintains strong ties with Europe’s royal families and a place on the global social scene.
Constantine-Alexios was born in 1998 in New York and was named after his grandfather King Constantine II, the last King of the Hellenes. Although monarchy was abolished in Greece in 1973, the family continues to maintain a discreet but real presence in the European jet set. His christening, in April 1999 at St. Sophia Cathedral in London, was itself a summit: his godparents were King Felipe of Spain, King Frederik of Denmark, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, as well as Prince William of Wales, today the heir to the British throne.

A blue-blood with an artistic vein
Like his godfather, he attended Wetherby School in London, where Princes William and Harry also studied. He then went to Wellington College and later Georgetown University in Washington D.C., where he studied English Literature, graduating in 2022. During his college years, the family moved permanently to New York, where his siblings Maria-Olympia and Achileas-Andreas also live.
His artistic nature strongly recalls that of his mother, who was a muse of 1980s New York and had interned at Andy Warhol’s studio. Constantine-Alexios engages in painting and sculpture, inspired by mythology and Greek landscapes. His works have been presented in select circles, and he openly states his love for art, design and photography.

In 2019 he was photographed by Nikolai von Bismarck for the book The Dior Sessions, the first Dior publication dedicated to menswear. On his Instagram, which counts hundreds of thousands of followers, images alternate between weekends in the Bahamas, skiing in the Alps and hunting in the British countryside.

His life seems taken straight out of magazine pages, but behind the photos there appears to be a kind, intelligent and low-key young man. As of December 2024, the family has regained Greek citizenship using the surname de Grèce.

On society front pages
However, it is his personal life that often feeds international tabloids. In 2023, rumor had it he was dating British socialite Poppy Delevingne, who even became close friends with his sister, Maria-Olympia. Although the two posted an affectionate holiday photo from a tropical island, their relationship appears not to have lasted. The following year “Tino,” as his friends call him, appeared alongside model Brooks Nader at the wedding of Olivia Culpo and athlete Christian McCaffrey.

More recently, paparazzi captured him with Madelyn Cline, the actress from the series Outer Banks. Whether rumor or new relationships, one thing is certain: Constantine-Alexios moves comfortably at the crossroads where European aristocracy and international high society meet — and he has already earned his own title: that of Europe’s most charming young blue-blood.
