The armed wing of Hamas announced that it will hand over, at 21:00 tonight (local time / Greece time) the body of an Israeli hostage who was taken captive on October 7, 2023 and transferred to the Gaza Strip.

The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades “will hand over at 21:00 the body of one of the captives of the (Israeli) occupation, which was found in the Shujaiya neighborhood, in the east of Gaza City,” the organization said in its Telegram channel.

This handover is part of the exchange plan of the living hostages and the bodies with Palestinian prisoners or dead, within the framework of the ceasefire agreement which came into force on October 10.
