Spectators at the Hellenic Air Force Academy on Saturday night were treated to a spectacular drone show that lit up the sky with precision and symbolism.

Hundreds of drones formed images in the air depicting fighter jets, helicopters, the distinctive helmets worn by pilots, and the Hellenic Air Force’s motto, “Aien Ypsikratein”—meaning “Always dominate the skies.”

The highlight of the evening came when a blue drone “fighter jet” — symbolizing Greece — appeared to shoot down a red one -presumably- representing a Turkish one, drawing enthusiastic applause from the crowd.
