Greek government seems determined to turn its foreign policy multidimensional, especially after  Berlin and its European partners seem to be  tightening the noose around the country in response to the economic issue.

Already contacts with the Russian government head towards a new path, while it is of great significance that after the acceleration of the Greek Prime Ministers trip to Moscow to meet with Vladimir Putin, the Greek Deputy Minister of Defense Kostas Ysihos arrived in the Russian capital on Tuesday in order to make all necessary arrangements for Alexis Tsipras arrival on the 8^th of April.

The mission of Mr. Ysihos is very important, but mainly indicative of the importance that the Greek side gives in the prime minister’s trip to Moscow.

At the same time, there are more frequent contacts with the Americans as well, who apparently are concerned about the developments in the region and the attitude of Greece.

On Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Tsipras met with the Assistant Foreign Minister B. Nioulant.

It is worth noting that government sources say that Athens wants close contact with two other countries, beyond the USA and Russia: China and Brazil.

China has to play an important role in developments, due to huge investment interests in the region and Brazil because of its important role in the International Monetary Fund.
