On the occasion of the International Day of Forests, celebrated on March 21, Alternate Minister for the Environment Yiannis Tsironis said yesterday that protecting Greek forests is every citizen’s responsibility.

“Greek forests are precious and beautiful, but they are in danger. It’s everyone’s duty to deliver more and better forests to the next generations,” Tsironis underlined, adding that the protection of Greek nature is not an obstacle, but a springboard for a sustainable economy,” Tsironis underlined.
