A nationwide protest at toll gates across the country will be held on April 5 (Palm Sunday) and alternatively on April 19 by the Coordinating Committees against Toll Collection.

The decision was taken during the meeting of the Committees that was held last Saturday at the Transport Directorate of Attica region.

According to the statement that was released after the conclusion of the meeting, the Coordinating Committees are “fighting for the radical overthrow of the current situation” which will mean the termination of concession contracts and the control and management of highways by a public body.
