Farmers close the tunnels of Tempi for trucks

The tunnels will be closed at 10:30 in the morning - Normal passage of cars and buses

Newsroom December 22 07:18

Farmers will continue their mobilizations through the Christmas holidays.

From the blockade of Nikaia, the “heart” of the mobilizations in Thessaly, farmers decided in a meeting to symbolically block the Tempi tunnels for trucks this morning at 10:30.

The farmers will move their tractors towards the Athens – Thessaloniki highway, but will allow the passage of cars and buses.

According to what was decided at the meeting, the farmers at the Nikaia blockade will rearrange their tractors so that from Tuesday onwards, there will be no problems in the movement of travellers, which is expected to be more due to the Christmas holidays.

The same is expected to happen in other blockades, while farmers will meet in the coming days to decide how to move ahead of New Year.
