Celebrating community, networking, and a lucky Dubai getaway

London will welcome the New Leaders Vasilopita Cutting, hosted by The Hellenic Initiative (THI) UK, on February 10th from 6 to 9 PM at the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation UK headquarters in South Kensington.

The event marks a new tradition for THI UK, bringing together emerging leaders from the Greek and international communities in London to celebrate the new year, connect professionally, and contribute to philanthropic causes.

Guests will enjoy drinks and a selection of bites while mingling with like-minded professionals. A highlight of the evening will be the ceremonial cutting of the Vasilopita, the traditional Greek New Year’s cake. One lucky attendee who finds the hidden flouri in the cake will win a week-long stay for four in a luxury apartment in Dubai, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.

The New Leaders Vasilopita Cutting aims to combine celebration with purpose, offering attendees the opportunity to network meaningfully while supporting THI’s initiatives that empower the Greek diaspora and foster positive impact globally.

With its mix of tradition, networking, and philanthropy, the event is expected to set the tone for THI UK’s 2026 programming and establish a new cornerstone for community engagement in London.
