Newsroom March 5 11:47

All repatriation flights to and from Greece have been canceled until tomorrow evening.

Today, Aegean operated a repatriation flight in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A new meeting is scheduled for 15:00 to examine the possibility of extending the cancellations.

Today’s repatriation flight is expected from Dubai, while a similar flight was carried out yesterday from Oman.

Meanwhile, UAE airlines announced the gradual resumption of limited flights after services had been completely suspended due to the closure of airspace in the region. During a press briefing on March 3, it was stated that 17,498 passengers are returning via 60 flights, while in the next phase 80 flights per day will operate from the UAE.

All airlines emphasize that passengers should check updates from the airlines before traveling.
