Maria Karystianou intervened regarding the conflicts in the Middle East, stressing that the situation is difficult and requires calm.
In particular, in her post she underlines that the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs must, in cooperation with our embassies in the countries involved, do whatever is necessary so that those trapped can be evacuated and return safely to Greece.”
“The situation is very difficult and requires calmness, prudence, and above all a preventive strategy and preparation,” she adds.
And she concludes: “We raise our voices and demand a world without wars, a different world, where good will prevail and fear will be pushed aside.”
