It’s another appearance in the stellar Cannes festival for budding Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos, whose latest work, “The Lobster”, features Hollywood A-listers Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz.
The creator of the distinctly lower budget “Dogtooth” and “Alps” steps into a higher budget category with a film described by Indiewire.com as a “blackly comic foray into the near-future, in which single people are required to find a partner in 45 days in order to avoid being transformed into animals and released into the woods.”
“Lobster” will debut in Cannes later this month.
