A tenant of the apartment building on Kolokotroni Street has given his testimony about what happened in the early hours of the morning in the building in the centre of Athens, where a woman was found dead.
As he said, “At around 4.20 am, I woke up hearing women’s screams. Then the screams were heard from inside the block of flats. I don’t know if it was a fight. Shortly after that, screams stopped, and murmurs were heard.”
According to the young man, the dialogue he heard was in English, after which he called the police.
“After the screaming and muttering, I heard a glass breaking. I thought it was the glass in my room, but, as I was told, it was from the 4th floor,” the resident of the apartment building on Kolokotroni Street added.
According to what he said, “they were speaking in English, the woman was saying ‘open, I’m sorry, come back, I didn’t distinguish what the man was saying. I had never seen them before.”
