A fire has broken out in Parnitha, triggering a major response from the Fire Service, following reports of a blaze in an area below the casino.
The fire is burning in a forested area. A total of 64 firefighters with 17 vehicles and three ground teams are operating at the scene.
Due to the fire, traffic has been suspended on Parnithos Avenue from the level of the cable car.
