Traffic regulations on the Athens-Lamia highway

Prior traffic restrictions due to work will take effect at the new national highway Athens-Lamia at Metamorphosis.

Due to the execution of works along the height and length of the extension of existing sound barriers, during the period from June 3 to July 31, 2026 and during the hours 23:00 to 06:00 of the following day, the right lane of the Athens-Lamia highway, in the area of the Municipality of Metamorphosis, in the direction of Athens, will be blocked as follows:

In the section between 16,700 and 16,115. At 16,115 an exit for the junction of Attiki Odos is created. At the same time, the entrance branch to the Tatoi junction (x/θ 16,795) will remain blocked. Drivers wishing to enter the Motorway will be directed via the branch to Lamia until the Pyrna A/K (x/θ 18,770), where the entrance to the branch to Athens will be made.
