David Beckham marked Father’s Day with a series of family photographs, including images with his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, at a time when reports of a growing rift within the family continue to draw attention.

The former England footballer posted the pictures on Instagram on Sunday, 21 June, sharing moments with all four of his children, including 27-year-old Brooklyn, who has reportedly distanced himself from his parents.

In the caption, Beckham wrote: “Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all and thank you mummy @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads around the world.”
Victoria Beckham, the fashion designer and former Spice Girls member, also paid tribute to her husband on Instagram, posting older family photographs and writing: “You really are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our amazing children and we love you so much.”

Brooklyn Beckham, who is married to American actress and heiress Nicola Peltz, did not share a Father’s Day message for his father. His brothers, Romeo and Cruz Beckham, both posted photographs with David Beckham, describing him as a “role model” and “the best dad”.

The absence of a public post from Brooklyn comes amid continued reports of tension between him and his parents. He has reportedly claimed that his family tried to control him and interfere in his relationship with Nicola Peltz.
