Late Thursday night, the two pilots of the aircraft that crashed into Lake Aoos were discharged from the University Hospital of Ioannina, who had been admitted as a precaution following the incident.

According to the attending physicians, both men were in very good health, and their stay at the hospital was deemed necessary solely for precautionary examinations. As reported, no other injuries or complications were found.

“I’m really very lucky to be okay. I’m so glad that neither my colleague nor I were hurt,” the 29-year-old told ERT.

As for the Australian pilot, according to the same reports, he was more composed after the incident, and he, too, did not suffer any serious health issues.
