Former British MP Louise Mensch reportedly published an insulting post on Twitter which caused an uproar on social media.
Louise Mensch, known for her irascible character, reportedly attacked Greece through a post on her personal twitter account, commenting on the results of a survey conducted by the “Anti-Defamation League” – an organization that aims to stop the defamation of the Jewish people, and secure justice and fair treatment to all peoples – according to which, 69% of the Greek people engage in antisemitic behaviour.

She wrote: “F*ck you, Greece. Nasty things happening to nasty people. 69% of country are racists.”

Her provocative reaction may have been influenced by the fact that she is married to a Jewish manager, whose company, Q Prime, has managed the careers of a large number of multiplatinum acts including Metallica and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Various Twitter posters responded by saying that the data could be misconstrued. Some of them also dared her to make a similar comment for Muslim countries, where (according to the same survey) nine out of ten engage in antisemitic behaviour.

Others wrote that the phrase “F*ck you Greece ” is also extremely racist as well as an unfair generalization.

In her response, Mensch stuck to her guns: “Greece can be said to be racist, as a country, when 70% identify as racist”. The first post, however, was erased from her account.
