Feminism’s inverted moral hierarchy: The Lindsay Clancy case

How the case exposes a culture that ranks a mother’s suffering above the lives of her murdered children

Lindsay Clancy has admitted to strangling her three young children – Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months – in their Massachusetts home in January 2023 before attempting suicide which left her paralyzed from the waist down. She faces first-degree murder charges, yet her trial has become a stage for a far more disturbing cultural phenomenon. Rather than confronting the deliberate taking of three innocent lives, feminist groups have rallied to shield the mother, framing her actions through the lens of postpartum distress while elevating her suffering above the irreversible loss of her victims.

Need you to understand what these women are supporting:

Lindsay Clancy…

-Baited her husband to leave the house and run ‘errands’
-Lured her children to the basement
-Took an exercise band and strangled Cora (5), Dawson, (3), and Callan (8 months)
-Cut her wrists and neck…

Crowdfunding campaigns for Clancy’s parents have rapidly approached one million dollars, ostensibly to ease their financial burdens during the proceedings. Outside the courthouse, groups of women in pink gather in visible…solidarity. On TikTok and other platforms, mothers film themselves cradling their own children, tearfully quoting Clancy’s journals and declaring “Same, Lindsay.” Some openly confess to having entertained thoughts of harming their offspring or claim they could easily have found themselves in her position. These displays treat the calculated strangulation of toddlers as a relatable maternal misfortune rather than an act of profound premeditated violence.

This response reveals the modern radical feminist movement for what it is: a cultural hierarchy that places female comfort, autonomy, and emotional narrative above the fundamental right of children to live. In this framework, a woman’s mental anguish or the pressures of motherhood become near-absolute excuses, while the children’s extinguished lives recede into secondary importance. The same voices that demand the harshest penalties in cases labeled “femicide” suddenly discover infinite compassion when a mother is the perpetrator.

The pattern is not isolated. It reflects a broader Western tendency to prioritize women’s self-realization and relief from burden even when that priority collides with the most basic protections owed to the next generation. When mothers publicly normalize homicidal ideation while holding their living children, the culture has crossed into territory that prioritizes adult female subjectivity over the objective value of young lives. The Clancy trial, whatever its legal outcome, has already exposed this inverted moral order with unsettling clarity.

Let me explain women’s biology to you that your MOTHER wouldn’t teach you.

Women cannot survive by strength. So nature gave them a different survival trick: fit in or die.

They don't have a truth filter. They have a SAFETY filter.
