New Democracy rises to 31%, maintaining a 15-point lead over second-place ELAS, while PASOK stands at 11.5%, according to the Marc poll presented on ANT1’s main evening news bulletin.

Vote Estimate

More specifically, in the vote estimate, which results in a nine-party Parliament, New Democracy stands at 31%, ELAS at 16%, PASOK at 11.5%, Greek Solution at 7.2%, KKE at 6.8%, and Plefsi at 5.5%.

The Karystianou party, Elpida gia ti Dimokratia (Hope for Democracy), plunges to 5.5% (from 10.5% in the previous poll), followed by Voice of Reason at 3.5% and MeRA25 at 3.2%.

SYRIZA is outside Parliament at 1.6%, Spartans at 1.4%, Niki at 1.3%, and Democrats at 1%. “Other party” is the response of 4%.

Voting Intention

In voting intention, New Democracy rises to 27.5% (from 26.8%), ELAS loses 0.3 percentage points and stands at 14% (from 14.3%), PASOK rises to 10.1% (from 9.2%), Greek Solution stands at 6.5% (6.1%), KKE at 6% (from 5.95%), and Plefsi at 4.9% (4.6%).

Elpida falls to 4.6% (from 9.2%). Voice of Reason rises to 2.9% (2.3%), MeRA25 to 2.9% (2.4%), and SYRIZA to 1.3% (1.1%).

“Other party” is the response of 3.8% (from 1.2%), while undecided voters are measured at 11% (from 11.2%).

The Profile of Undecided Voters

The qualitative data on the profile of undecided voters are of particular interest. Some 34.6% come from New Democracy, 18.8% from SYRIZA, 8.3% from the Spartans, 6.6% from PASOK, 6.2% from Niki, while 3.2% come from Greek Solution. Some 8.6% of undecided voters come from another party.

Suitability for Prime Minister

Kyriakos Mitsotakis is by far ahead in terms of suitability for prime minister, with 31%, holding a 16.1-point lead over second-place Alexis Tsipras, who receives 14.9%. PASOK President Nikos Androulakis stands at 8%, Kyriakos Velopoulos at 5.1%, followed by Zoe Konstantopoulou at 4.8% and Maria Karystianou at 3.6%.

What Kind of Government They Prefer

Asked what type of government they prefer, 27.8% answer “a single-party New Democracy government.”

Cooperation between PASOK-ELAS and smaller left-wing parties is preferred by 27.1%, cooperation between New Democracy and PASOK is favored by 9.6%, while 8% prefer cooperation between New Democracy and smaller right-wing parties.

The Announcements at the Thessaloniki International Fair

Public opinion viewed Mitsotakis’ announcements at the Thessaloniki International Fair positively, with 38.4% describing them as positive or rather positive, compared with 55% who rated them negatively or rather negatively.

Similarly, 55.4% viewed Androulakis’ announcements negatively, compared with 29.7% who viewed them positively or rather positively.

Tsipras’ announcements were viewed positively or rather positively by 24.1%, while 62.7% viewed them negatively or rather negatively.

Overall, the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had the most satisfactory performance at the Thessaloniki International Fair, according to 35.7% of respondents. He is followed by Alexis Tsipras at 20.6%, and finally Nikos Androulakis at 15%.

Samaras’ Party

Finally, the Marc poll examines potential support for a Samaras party. Thus, 85.3% say they would probably or definitely not vote for him, compared with 12.1% who say they would definitely or quite possibly vote for him.
