According to the Athens Observatory Geodynamics Institute the tremor’s epicentre was located  two kilometers north east of Nafpaktos.

The earthquake was felt at Patras, Aigio, Galaxidi and other areas of Aitoloakarnania, Achaia and Fokida districts.
