Athens Festival is a great celebration that lasts the last 56 summers and has hosted some of the leading lights of theatre, music and dance. Some of the people that floated the stage with their talent were Maria Callas, Luciano Pavarotti, Mstislav Rostropovich, Theodorakis, Hadjidakis, Karolos Koun, Peter Hall, Nureyev, Martha Graham and Alicia Alonso.
