SUP was born in Hawaii and is taking Greece by storm. It is so popular that it even has its own Greek SUP society, a Hellenic SUP CUP and a growing community of SUP enthusiasts.

The next SUP event is on September 20 at Loutsa beach and then again at the Corinth Isthmus on November 8.

All you need to take part is a surf board and a paddle. Stand up on the ocean and let the waves sweep you away while trying to stand upright.

SUP began in the Forties at Waikkiki by surfers who used the technique to take other’s out to the ocean or teach them how to surf and it slowly gained its own popularity.
